Do You Need Cash For College? Assemblymember Marty Block (D-San Diego) is partnering with Cash for College and the California Student Aid Commission to host a FREE FAFSA Financial Aid Workshop. The program is designed to make parents and students aware of the financial resources that are available to help pay for a college education. Saturday, February 5, 2011 9 a.m. to 12 Noon Hoover High School 4474 El Cajon Boulevard San Diego, CA 92115 Parents and students are invited to come get help filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and Cal Grant applications. These are two important forms that can help you pay for college. Students should bring a parent or guardian and the following: - Student's social security card and driver's license
- Parent's social security card
- Parent's Federal Income Tax return (2010 or 2009)
- Bank account information, investments and business records
- If not a U.S. citizen, bring appropriate registration card(s)
- List of colleges of interest
- Your PIN number(s) for FAFSA - Personal ID Number for electronic signature. Apply for a PIN at www.pin.ed.gov
