CRISPE Shines in MLK Parade |

The CRISPE Bus does it again and brings awareness to 40,000 people in the MLK Parade in downtown San Diego.
Thousands of leafets were passed out to interested people. Many other groups such as the many unions marching in the parade contacted CRISPE regarding the EQUAL shared parenting initiative because many of their members are affected by ineffective courts and not being able to get EQUAL time access with their children. They are concerned that these issues are cause much lost time at work when some one has to constantly go to a court that will not settle cases until the person is broke or loses their job because they don't want to lose their children. Also many political candidates requested meetings with Mr. CRISPE and are looking at ways to reduce gang violence which stems from broken homes. The MLK Parade brought focus to many people on how important our civil rights are and if we don't fight for our civil rights, our children won't have any rights. We need to take a stand for what we believe in and not let the oppression of the system hold us back. Martin Luther King if he were alive would be a member of CRISPE and support the rights of children to share both parents EQUALLY.
