Join the CRISPE Bus at the Los Angeles Courthouse this Friday AM for a Children's Rights Rally!Advocates for both Shared Parenting and ending Parental Alienation come in all shapes, size and color. Like the diversity of the issue itself, so are those that take up the cause. Alec Baldwin has been trust into the limelight by someone that didn't care about the harm it creates for a child. Who that is, I guess we may not ever know, but we have our suspicions, which generally are pointed towards the custodial parent as is usually the case.Whatever the reason here, there is one outcome that we must embrace, congratulate and move forward with. We now have a star who’s name has become synonymous with the issue itself – Family Courts and the laws that allow parents to dangerously alienate children from their natural parent-child relationship. The Children’s Rights Initiative for Sharing Parents Equally (CRISPE) formally announces it’s participation with the National Coalition of Free Men Los Angeles and San Diego, along with Fathers 4 Justice of Los Angeles in a protest at the Los Angeles Courthouse in support of ending Parental Alienation and for enactment of laws in support of Equal Shared Parenting. The hearing is scheduled for May 4th, at 8:30 am at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse - 110 Grand Avenue, Los Angeles. We encourage non-custodial parents who have an interest in helping to end PAS or have an interest in passing new laws in the State of California protecting the rights of children and non-custodial parents to come out to this worthwhile event. |

Today, The Children's Rights Initiative for Sharing Parents Equally was in Las Vegas for the Kickoff of their CRISPE National Tour for Equal Shared Parenting. The event was successful, with protestors of the family court system in Vegas joining togetherfor this event to mark Nevada's proclamation that Wednesday, April 25th was Parental Alienation Awareness Day.
The CRISPE Bus and its crew of four was met by members of PASSAGE, Parental Alienation Support Syndrome, and Equal Rights for Divorce Fathers, along with several others. Together, the group protested the streets looking for real justice in their courts. With a good turnout people to protest for both supporting equal shared parenting and public awareness of Parental Alienation, the event was a huge success. The event was held in front of the Clark County Courthouse. KLAV 1230 AM Radio in Las Vegas interviewed Larry Kerkman, the President of CRISPE with regards to his thoughts on the current Alec Baldwin story. Larry's overall comments were that the courts and attorneys allow, and even cultivate animosity in divorce, which fuels a huge industry that destroys families, causing both parents to fight for the right to be parents to their children. In this winner take all battle, many times custodial parents our of fear for the loss of a child will alienate a loving parent who is fighting to get back their right to substantial time with their children. The instincts are very basis and in all of us. However, when extremes exists, and are allowed to grow out of control, everyone is affected, especially the children. |
