Taxpayer Funded Destruction of Fathers, Destroys Children!

Depriving Men of Constitutional Rights

by Phyllis Schlafly
Family courts routinely deprive men of their fundamental right to parent their own children by charging them with a wide variety of trivial offenses. Family courts generally uphold feminist demands to kick a man out of his own home, and take control of their children and his money, based on a woman’s unsubstantiated allegations. A major weapon in this ongoing battle between men and women who don’t get along is the Violence Against Women Act. This law was passed in 1994 as a payoff to the radical feminists for helping to elect Bill Clinton President in 1992.

The Violence Against Women Act shows the hypocrisy of noisy feminist demands that we kowtow to their ideology of gender neutrality, to their claim that there is no difference between male and female, and to their opposition to stereotyping and gender profiling. There is nothing sex neutral about this law. It is based on the proposition that there are, indeed, innate gender differences: men are naturally batterers and women are naturally victims. This law is not designed to eliminate or punish violence, but to punish only alleged violence against women. Most of the shelters financed by the Violence Against Women Act do not accept men as victims.

This law has been known from the getgo as “feminist pork” because it puts $1 Billion a year of U.S. taxpayers’ money into the hands of the radical feminists. They have set up shop in domestic violence shelters where they promote divorce, marriage breakup, hatred of men, and false accusations, while rejecting marriage counseling, reconciliation, drug-abuse treatment, and evidence of mutual-partner abuse. There is no accountability for the taxpayers’ money spent in these shelters. This law provides the woman with free legal counsel to pursue her allegations, but not the man to defend himself. He is on his own to find and pay a lawyer.

  1. Fathers are only one group abused by the VAWA.

Working women are being abused at a much higher rate, more than 500,000 times per year according to the Office of Violence Against women.

The federal non-proseuction policy for rape, is the basic premise of the VAWA.

“It is the sense of the Senate, that rape be prosecuted by the State”

I have folders full of letters, from the federal government, telling me that rape in the workplace is not a prosecutable crime.

I am very certain that it is. Title 18 Section 245 Federally Protected Activities, states that it is a federal civil rights crime, to sexually abuse women in the workplace.

In my experience, pleading in federal court for years, pleading with police, courts, Judges, the EEOC, the Department of “Justice” to simply put one man out of the workplace and in prison where he belongs….and he is still doing business as usual.

I do not understand why any woman should have to leave the workplace, due to sexual assault.

But, I have learned that the policies of the VAWA, and the four billion dollars of tax payer money spent to fund and implement this unconstitutional law, nets the federal government an enormous profit, “processing rape cases” through the federalized system of abuse of working women.

It is a rapist subsidy, with billions in profits going to the federal government for the rape of our own women.

I still think it is the governments responsibility to put an abuser out of the workplace, they continue to refuse to do so, with intentional discrimination and government abuse against working women.

Should ANYONE think they are able to convince the federal government that it is a crime to sexually abuse women in the workplace, that NO woman should have to leave her job, due to sexual abuse….

Should anyone be able to convince the government to put one abuser out of the workplace and in prison where he belongs….

Does YOUR wife need her job? Can your family make it without HER salary.

If she walks into the wrong office, it starts a chain of abuse by government, that results in no justice, and millions per case, in government coffers. Case closed.

The abuser stays in the workplace, to abuse more women.
I would like help to get that one assailant, in prison.

He is the proof that the VAWA, is heinous abuse by government.

  2. HR 3402 is the original text of the 2005 reauthorization of the VAWA. It can be found in many internet sites, I recommend govtrack.us

Reading the bill, it is very clear, that it is loaded with “pork”.

The Department of Justice, receives hundreds of millions under the appropriations in this bill, in addition to the hundreds of millions that are already appropriated to that federal agency.

The “training” to the DOJ, under the provisions of this bill, allow the DOJ to “investigate” women that never committed a crime, while establishing a the non-prosecution policy of the Sentate.

There is a one million dollar appropriation, for the prosecution and deportation of Nazi war criminals.

Funds that were set up to assist crime victims, were reallocated to “training’ of the many government agencies and non-profs that receive “grants” of your tax payer dollars under this unconscionable Act of Congress.

It is 4 billion dollars of taxpayer money, given in outrageous “grants” to selected non-profs, and hundreds of millions in “pork” to existing government agencies.

The federal government nets the profit from the implementation of the VAWA. The VOCA fund alone had 2 billion dollars when the government sought to “nationalize” the fund.

There are many such funds set up, for the government to recieve billions of dollars each year, by allowing the rape of our own working women, while refusing to incarcerate violent criminals.

Your 4 billion in tax dollars, nets tens of billions in revenue for the federal and state governments.

  3. Thank you for the sensible critique. Me and my neighbor were just preparing to do some research about this. We got a grab a book from our local library but I think I learned more from this post. I am very glad to see such great information being shared freely out there on how sick this Title IV-d is destroying children and creating fatherless homes. I don’t know why we are paying and encouraging women to be single mothers and creating rotten adults that are fatherless and directionless. This is very sick failed program.
